Admissions & Enrollment

ProDrive Training Academy admits students who meet all state and federal eligibility requirements for commercial driver training. Our admissions process is designed to ensure students are prepared to participate safely, responsibly, and successfully in CDL training.

General Eligibility Requirements

To be considered for enrollment, applicants must:​​​
​​
  • Be at least 18 years old for intrastate operation or 21 years old for interstate operation
  • Hold a valid Texas Driver License
  • Be able to read, write, and understand English at a level necessary for safe vehicle operation
  • Meet FMCSA medical requirements, including a valid DOT medical certificate
  • Be legally eligible to train and work in the United States
  • Have no active license suspensions, revocations, or disqualifications

How to Apply
  1. Schedule a consultation with ProDrive Training Academy
  2. Review program options, requirements, and expectations
  3. Submit required documentation
  4. Confirm eligibility and availability
  5. Complete enrollment agreement prior to the start of training

Applicants will be required to provide copies of the following:
  • Texas Driver License
  • Commercial Learner Permit (CLP), as applicable
  • DOT Medical Certificate
  • Proof of identity and work authorization (e.g., Social Security card, birth certificate, or equivalent documentation)

​Admission to ProDrive Training Academy does not guarantee licensure, certification, or employment. Program availability and instructional delivery are subject to regulatory approval and operational capacity.

Commercial Learner's Permit (CLP)

Applicants are required to APPLY for the appropriate Commercial Learner Permit (CLP) at their local DPS Office prior to enrolling in ProDrive Training Academy. This allows both the applicant and the school to confirm CDL eligibility before the start of training.
